3.83- What are the Types of permissible fees and finance charges?

There are charges that have been authorized including the preliminary escrow payment (that is provided for at closing), real estate commission, fees stipulated by the government and items that have already been paid for etc. To add, we must not forget that various origination charges have been sanctioned as well. Underwriting fees, processing charges, for the performance of work itself and lastly this also covers services too. By ‘services’ it is understood that it covers both services that can be shopped for and those that cannot be shopped for. Furthermore taxation is also a part of this exhaustive list of permissible fees and monetary charges.

To shed light on the initially discussed prepaid items (as seen above) HOI, PMI and prepaid interest are considered as sanctioned, payable charges.
